Summary: Client was on Federal Supervised release when he was arrested for allegedly breaking into a dorm room on a college campus. Client was accused of stealing a purse which was located in his backpack once he was arrested. Client was twice convicted of felony offenses before this, so he was a true habitual, looking at 25-life in prison. Case was set for a suppression hearing after we rejected first a 10 year prison offer and then a 2 year prison offer just minutes before the hearing began.
Case Result: Motion to Suppress GRANTED. Client walked out of the jail a free man that day.
